International Indigenous Business Leaders, Welcome

wakaThe IIBL2008 will bring together Indigenous Business Leaders nationally and internationally from across our global village. These people will be involved in, or aspiring to the promotion and empowerment of business leadership, alliances, trade and investment amongst indigenous business people.

The IIBL2008 will be convened on the 24th - 25th September 2008 at the Copthorne Hotel & Resort, Bay of Islands. The Conference agenda will include two days of stunning plenary sessions, workshops on Indigenous Business Leadership, an Indigenous Business Expo and the opportunity to connect current and aspiring indigenous business leaders.

 

IIBLC 2008 Theme

The IIBL2008 conference theme is  “Indigenous Leadership in Business” . This theme is considered to be greatly important and highly valuable given the variety of issues and challenges indigenous nations and communities across our global village are experiencing in developing and maintaining long-term sustainable economic development strategies.The conference will provide the opportunity to share ideas, raise awareness of issues, directions and trends that are filtering into indigenous business.
